Hi everyone! We're very excited to have just launched the only Bitcoin ATM in Queensland. We're here to answer any questions.

The only Bitcoin ATM currently in Queensland, Australia!

Jackpot Dining West End
After a few months of hard work, we've managed to get a Bitcoin ATM up and running in Brisbane, Queensland. It's currently the only one in the state! For those of you nearby, we think you'll find it's a super convenient way to buy crypto with cash! We're planning to add altcoins to the ATM soon, too!
We know as well as anyone the frustrations of using online exchanges (hidden fees, lengthy verifications, slow deposits, slow withdrawals, etc.). If time is of the essence, there's no beating a Bitcoin ATM. Your Bitcoin can be visible in your wallet within one minute of arriving at the ATM.

Location- It's located at Jackpot Dining West End, a trendy Chinese restaurant/takeaway place (the food is cheap and delicious btw!). The address is 100 Boundary Street, West End QLD 4101. There's plenty of on-street parking nearby. If you need to get cash out, there's a bunch of banks within a hundred meters (NAB, ANZ, Suncorp, BOQ, Bank Australia, Delphi).
Operating hours- Jackpot Dining West End is open every day, from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Fees- The fees are currently 4% plus $5 (which contributes to the mining fee).
Minimum transaction size- $20
Maximum transaction size- $8000 if you've used the ATM before, $500 if it's your first time using the ATM
KYC- Like all exchanges and traders (including those on LocalBitcoins), the ATM complies with the Australian KYC laws introduced in 2018. You will need ID (driver's license or proof of age card) and a mobile phone (for SMS verification). Your privacy is taken very seriously. IDs may be verified with the document issuer, but customers' information is otherwise not routinely shared with anyone.

We're here to answer any questions guys!

Are all Bitcoin ATMs overpriced?

Had a bad experience recently trying to use a CoinCloud ATM on a friends suggestion, was wondering if they're all that expensive? It was something like a 20% fee, like what is that even a charge for, and at that point why wouldn't I use an exchange or something?
Like I can understand if you were avoiding KYC regulations, but you're not even doing that because I guarantee you these ATM companies have to do it to stay in business. Anyone have input? Im at a loss, because I really dont want to use these exchanges and would rather not do p2p with another person. Are there any ATMs that have a low enough fee where its worth my while?

What do you look for in a Bitcoin ATM?

Started seeing some bitcoin ATMs in local stores. The machines were from different companies and had different fees. Which made me wonder what goes into people's decision on what machine to use.
Is mostly just how much the fee is? Also I was checking coinatmradar and most of the machines around me do not have the fees posted online so how do you know your getting a good fee?
Do you consider other things:
- Location (is it near me)
- Company (maybe one company is more trusted than another, better customer service)
- How much ID you need at the machine (upto $1000 with sms versus unto $1500)

Need help on finding bitcoin atm that can buy AND sell

Does anyone know where I can find a bidirectional bitcoin atm (meaning you can both buy / sell bitcoin). I’ve been using an atm from the company “coin flip” but sadly you can only buy bitcoin, not sell 😭. Any bitcoin atm brand / company name would be greatly appreciated!!
The reason why I use an atm in the first place is because I don’t have a bank account (not 18) and my parents aren’t willing to buy bitcoin for me.

Should I invest in a bitcoin ATM in Holland?

I'm working on getting a ATM in my city near the border of germany in the Netherlands. Ive contacted other busnisses around town who own a bitcoin ATM in stores (Some of them got a ATM because they got asked by clients in another country). I'm likely going to buy a GB Gereral Batmthee ATM in the near future since it's a pretty nice design and cheap.
The reason I invest is because I also wanne make money like everyone wants to do, but I mostly wanne spread awareness. I also wanne buy a second ATM if my investment works after maybe 2/3 years.

Should I invest? What Is your experience with ATM? Do you own one and does it make alot of profit in the long-term? (Dutch comments would be great!)

Do bitcoin ATMs know who is buying bitcoin?

Do bitcoin ATMs know who is buying bitcoin?
Im having trouble to but this into words, but to sum it up. Is it safe for me to get bitcoin from an ATM as a 16 year old with a debit card? I get by my "course". And can i use the bitcoin gotten from the ATM to buy things online without being tracked? And how would i go about getting bitcoin, because when i tried to make an account online for bitcoin, they needed 18+ verification through photograph of my passport... Can i just go to an atm and get some bitcoin and use it simple as that online to order things? I feel like im missing something.
Here is the ATM closest to me. Can i use it as an underage?
